The Newark, New Jersey office of FBT Gibbons is seeking a Real Estate Associate.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of experience as a commercial real estate attorney handling complex lending transactions
• Significant experience with commercial real estate financing (preferably borrower side), including experience independently negotiating substantive provisions of loan agreements, guarantees and other loan documents
• Significant experience with negotiating purchase and sale agreements in connection with complex acquisitions and dispositions
• Experience with redevelopment work in New Jersey is a plus
• Admission in New Jersey or New York

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $185,000 to $215,000 , reflecting a variety of factors including experience, training, licensure, certifications, and organizational needs. Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, relevant experience, and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable employment laws.

Associates Are Also Eligible For

• Quarterly and annual objective bonuses, with maximum objective bonus opportunities ranging from approximately $14,000 to $22,000 per year, depending on associate level
• Annual subjective bonus
