Job summary

Simpson Judge USA is seeking a Real Estate Associate in Miami to join its top-ranked Real Estate practice. You will advise sophisticated developers, institutional investors, lenders, and major property owners on complex commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, and finance.

You will work with renowned partners on high-value transactions, take ownership from negotiation through closing, and have exposure to billion-dollar developments and international clients.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience handling sophisticated commercial real estate transactions.
• Admission to the Florida Bar.
• Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, and/or real estate finance.

Responsibilities

• Advise developers, institutional investors, lenders, real estate funds, and major property owners on sophisticated commercial real estate matters.
• Handle commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions.
• Work on complex real estate financing transactions.
• Assist with major development projects, including mixed-use and hospitality developments.
• Advise on leasing matters and ground leases.
• Work on joint ventures and real estate investment structures.
• Support large-scale portfolio acquisitions and dispositions.
• Draft and negotiate transaction documents.
• Work directly with partners and clients on high-value transactions.
• Take ownership of matters from initial negotiations through closing.

The team handles high-value and complex commercial real estate matters, including major acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and development projects. Associates work closely with highly regarded partners and have the opportunity to take meaningful responsibility on sophisticated transactions.

What You'll Do

• Advise developers, institutional investors, lenders, real estate funds, and major property owners on sophisticated commercial real estate matters


• Handle commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions


• Work on complex real estate financing transactions

What You'll Need

• 3+ years of experience handling sophisticated commercial real estate transactions

• Experience with leasing, development, or hospitality transactions is a plus


• Strong academic credentials


• Experience at a major or highly regarded law firm preferred
