Job Description

We are seeking an associate attorney with significant experience in commercial real estate law to support and lead complex real estate transactions. This attorney will be involved in a wide range of matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development, finance, joint ventures, and regulatory issues. The ideal candidate will have experience working with large-scale commercial projects and a strong understanding of Florida real estate law.

Key Responsibilities

• Representing clients in real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, development, leasing, and finance.
• Advising clients on real estate matters related to zoning, land use, title, and environmental issues.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide variety of real estate documents, including purchase agreements, leases, loan agreements, and development agreements.
• Managing all aspects of commercial real estate closings, including coordination with title companies, lenders, and other third parties.
• Providing strategic legal advice to clients, assisting with risk management, and offering practical solutions for complex real estate matters.
• Conducting legal due diligence and preparing reports for clients.
• Collaborating with other departments within the firm on matters involving real estate and corporate law.
• Engaging in business development efforts, including client meetings, networking, and writing articles or participating in speaking engagements.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited institution.
• Active Florida bar membership.
• 3+ years of experience in commercial real estate law, with a focus on transactions, leasing, and development.
• Strong understanding of local, state, and federal real estate laws and regulations.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and client management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
