Serving at a senior level, you will lead complex transactions, advise on financing, and shape the firm’s strategy and client development in Florida and Latin America. Fluency in English/Spanish is preferred for cross-border work.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and Florida admission.
• 10+ years in commercial real estate law with client origination.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

A law firm seeks a highly accomplished Real Estate Partner to join their office in Coral Gables, FL. This role offers a strategic opportunity for a seasoned legal professional to integrate into a well-established real estate practice. The position requires a strong command of commercial real estate law and an established client base, contributing at a senior level to the firm's success.

Duties

• Lead sophisticated commercial real estate transactions involving various property types from acquisition to disposition.
• Structure and negotiate complex leasing arrangements for landlords and tenants.
• Advise clients on real estate financing, including loan transactions and foreclosures.
• Counsel clients on contract enforcement and strategic real estate planning across Florida and Latin America.
• Draft condominium and master property owner declarations and related documents.
• Collaborate with firm leadership on legal strategy and client development.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to practice in Florida.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial real estate law.
• Demonstrated ability to originate and maintain client relationships.
• Strong business acumen and leadership capabilities.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Familiarity with NetDocuments, AIM, LexisNexis, Westlaw, and iCONECT preferred.

Education & Certifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Certification: Admission to practice in Florida.
