Job Description: Real Estate Assistant/Operations Manager at Douglas Elliman

We are a top-performing luxury real estate team at Douglas Elliman seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and licensed Real Estate Assistant/Operations Manager to help manage our listings, transactions, marketing, and team operations.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in NYC real estate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional service. You will play a key part in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and providing white-glove support from listing launch to closing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support day-to-day operations to keep the team running efficiently
  • Manage listings from start to finish: listing pitches, exclusive agreements, photography, copywriting, and online listing syndication
  • Handle transaction coordination: offers, accepted deals, applications, and board packages through closing
  • Maintain client database, track leads, deals, and commissions
  • Assist with marketing initiatives and content creation (newsletters, brochures, show sheets, Instagram posts/reels, postcards, listing syndication)
  • Coordinate and communicate with clients across all stages of the transaction, including scheduling showings to ensure a seamless experience
  • Conduct and assist with open houses and property showings as needed (occasional weekends required)
  • Provide administrative support to the team leader
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience in real estate, marketing, or operations
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
  • Tech-savvy with knowledge of CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and social media
  • Strong communication skills and a team-player mentality
  • Willingness to work occasionally on weekends for open houses/showings
