Job summary

Atlas Search is seeking an Asset Management Associate for Equity Real Estate Investments in a Hybrid Brooklyn, NY office. You will analyze property-level performance, support budgeting, and identify opportunities to enhance NOI and portfolio value.

The role requires a Finance/Real Estate background, strong financial modeling and Excel skills, and the ability to work in a lean, entrepreneurial environment with cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field.
• Strong financial modeling, Excel, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter comfortable working in a lean, entrepreneurial investment environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze monthly property-level financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and investment expectations.
• Identify opportunities to improve asset performance, operating efficiency, and NOI.
• Oversee a designated portfolio of assets and maintain relationships with third-party property managers.
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and portfolio performance reviews.
• Underwrite potential expansion, redevelopment, and value-add investment opportunities.
• Prepare investment memorandums and presentations for internal asset management committees.
• Assist with acquisition and disposition due diligence and asset transitions.
• Coordinate with lenders, insurers, and external operating partners.
