Job summary

New York Life Investment Management seeks an Asset Management Associate based in Atlanta to support asset managers on analytic, operational, and strategic tasks. You will assist with valuations, lease analysis, hold/sell analyses, and budgets, coordinating with third parties to drive accurate reports.

The role requires 1–3 years of investment analysis, a real estate/finance background, and strong Excel and Argus skills, with a mix of independent work and collaboration in a hybrid Atlanta

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of investment analysis experience in real estate or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, urban planning, finance, or economics.
• Strong understanding of the commercial real estate market.
• Experience with varied transactions; JV experience a plus.
• Proficient in Excel and Argus/Argus Enterprise; strong analytical and communicati…
• Detail-oriented, able to meet deadlines, and work independently or with others.
• Familiar with multiple real estate markets and valuation work.

Responsibilities

• Support asset managers with lease analyses, hold/sell models, and valuations.
• Coordinate due diligence with market statistics and external consultants.
• Prepare quarterly and annual property valuations and analyses.
• Participate in calls with asset managers, brokers, and leasing agents.
• Review monthly financial reports from property managers and JV partners.
• Prepare investment committee memorandums and valuation models in Argus/Excel.
• Maintain current market data and manage external data sources.
• Limited travel to the Southeast region.
