Job summary

Birge & Held is seeking an Asset Management Associate to support portfolio analytics, financial modeling, and strategic planning across multiple properties. You will report to senior management and help drive asset performance and value-added initiatives.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years in real estate or finance, strong Excel-based modeling, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams while maintaining confidentiality. A hybrid schedule and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or similar field of study.
• 3–5 years of experience in real estate, finance or related field; multifamily investment or asset management experience is a plus.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Oversee an assigned portfolio of assets and maximize value.
• Develop asset-specific business plans to drive performance and returns.
• Review property financial reports and variance analysis.
• Develop cash flow models and investment analyses.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly asset performance reports.
• Support financing, dispositions, and capital events with financial modeling.
