Job summary

Veritas Partners is seeking an Analyst to support operational, strategic, and investment decisions in real estate assets in the Washington, DC area.

You will review financial statements, rent rolls, and capex budgets, research market data, and lead meetings with property managers. You will also conduct site inspections, build financial models, and contribute to debt financing discussions as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with strong academic record (Business/Finance/Real Estate preferred).
• 1–3 years of real estate asset management experience or internships.
• Ability to translate qualitative and quantitative data into strategic deliverables.
• Excellent written, oral communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.

Responsibilities

• Review financial statements, rent rolls, and capex budgets.
• Research and evaluate real estate market data and trends.
• Lead conference calls and meetings with property management partners.
• Conduct site inspections and market tours (travel may be required).
• Create financial analyses including budgets, cash flows, and IRR calculations.
• Prepare memos for senior leadership presentations.
• Coordinate due diligence and closing processes for transactions.
• Assist with arranging and closing debt financing.
• Present property performance to the firm quarterly.
• Collaborate with property management teams to implement business plans.
