Job summary

Genuine Search Group is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage a portfolio of residential and commercial properties. You will post payments, reconcile ledgers, and support month-end close while collaborating with property managers and internal accounting teams.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of AR or accounting experience, real estate/property management background, strong Excel skills, and experience with Yardi, MRI, or AppFolio.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of AR or accounting experience required.
• Real estate/property management experience is required.
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable for a portfolio of residential and/or commercial properties.
• Post and apply tenant payments, rents, charges, credits, and adjustments accurately and timely.
• Review tenant ledgers and reconcile balances; identify discrepancies.
• Reconcile accounts and research payment discrepancies or unapplied funds.
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding receivables.
• Communicate with tenants about balances, payments, and discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Property Managers to resolve billing issues.
• Prepare AR reports and maintain supporting documentation.
• Assist with collections efforts and delinquent accounts.
