City of Boston is seeking a seasoned real estate appraisal professional for a provisional appointment. The role involves analyzing and appraising diverse properties using mass appraisal techniques, preparing submissions for the Appellate Tax Board, and presenting testimony when needed.

Competenze

• At least 4 years of full-time professional experience in real estate appraisal or related field.
• One year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Professional designations (MAA, CMA, CAE) or a related college degree preferred.
• Training, mentoring, and staff motivation experience preferred.
• Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and project management skills preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of valuation methodology and CAMA systems preferred.
• Ability to present to the public and coworkers preferred.
• Ability to prepare appraisal reports and data-driven communications preferred.
• Knowledge of assessing operations and departmental standards preferred.
• Must maintain a current Massachusetts driver's license and safe driving record.
• Strong attention to detail and sound judgment.
