Job summary

Class Valuation is actively seeking a Staff Appraiser in Massachusetts to join a growing team of licensed residential appraisers. This W2 role focuses on traditional, hybrid, and desktop appraisals with an emphasis on accuracy, timelines, and client service.

Ideal candidates hold an active Certified Residential or Certified General license, have at least three years of residential experience, and can work independently while communicating clearly with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of residential appraisal experience.
• Maintain active appraisal license in good standing.
• Ability to work independently with sound valuation judgment.

Responsibilities

• Complete residential property appraisals including traditional, hybrid, and desktop assignments.
• Ensure compliance with USPAP and applicable regulations.
• Collect, verify, and analyze market and property data.
• Deliver timely status updates and maintain clear client communication.
• Participate in required training and meetings.

• Complete residential property appraisals, including traditional, hybrid, and desktop assignments.
• Ensure compliance with USPAP requirements and applicable federal and state regulations.
• Collect, verify, and analyze market and property data.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production and service goals.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining high ethical standards.
• Provide timely status updates and maintain clear communication.
• Participate in required training sessions and virtual meetings.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Residential or Certified General Appraiser license in good standing.
• FHA approval preferred.
• Minimum of three years of residential appraisal experience.
• Ability to work independently and make sound valuation decisions.
• Strong knowledge of local markets and residential property trends.
• Proven ability to meet performance expectations while maintaining consistent communication.
