Job summary

Watkins Talent Solutions is seeking a Real Estate Analyst in Birmingham to help manage our office lease portfolio, track renewals, and analyze portfolio data to support strategic decisions.

You will coordinate with outside real estate partners, develop LOI terms, prepare approval documents, and ensure accurate lease reporting to keep leadership informed.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial real estate, lease administration, corporate real estate, brokerage, or a related role.
• Basic understanding of commercial real estate metrics and lease terms.
• Excellent attention to detail and comfort managing deadlines.
• Ability to turn data into clear, concise recommendations.
• Comfortable working across multiple internal teams and outside partners.
• Experience with lease administration platforms, brokerage, or corporate real estate is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage lease renewals & deadlines: Track expirations, options, notice dates, and renewal timelines so nothing sneaks up on us.
• Coordinate with real estate partners: Serve as the day-to-day contact with our outside brokerage and lease administration teams, keeping information and transactions moving.
• Make sense of the data: Analyze office utilization, occupancy, headcount, commute information, market rents, and other portfolio data to help leadership make smart real estate decisions.
• Support transactions: Help develop LOI terms, prepare approval documents, coordinate internal sign-offs, and move renewals and new leases across the finish line.
• Keep the details straight: Review lease-related reporting and monthly payment information while making sure the right people have the right information at the right time.

We’re looking for a Real Estate Analyst who enjoys keeping moving pieces organized, digging into data, and helping people make smart decisions. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their commercial real estate career who wants exposure to both the analytical and operational sides of the business. You’ll help manage an office lease portfolio, tracking renewals and critical dates, working with outside real estate partners, analyzing portfolio data, and helping leadership answer questions like: Should we renew? Relocate? Consolidate? Or move on from a space?
