Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business, Accounting, or related field.
• 0–3 years of acquisitions or financial analysis experience in real estate.
• Foundational knowledge of financial modeling, investment analysis, capital structures, and debt financing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Effective written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and other MS Office tools; ability to learn new systems.
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate with diverse teams.
• Experience in multi-family acquisition underwriting preferred.
• CRM software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and present underwriting models and acquisition opportunities.
• Participate in property tours, market visits, and due diligence activities, including travel as needed.
• Develop and communicate underwriting assumptions, financial analyses, and investment recommendations to Acquisition leadership.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate assets, market conditions, and submarket dynamics.
• Research, compile, and analyze demographic, economic, and market data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Evaluate sales, revenue, occupancy, and operating performance in target markets and assess impact on investment outcomes.
• Analyze and compare financial statements, operating metrics, and performance benchmarks between existing portfolio assets and prospective acquisitions.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and timely transaction records within company systems and databases.
• Support due diligence, market research, and special projects as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.
