Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Reagent Sales Specialist in Massachusetts to drive field sales within the Protein Sciences segment. You will visit customers four days a week, manage current accounts, and grow new ones by demonstrating protein science reagents and related cell culture products.

The role requires 3+ years in life sciences sales, a life sciences degree, and strong communication skills. You will use Salesforce daily and navigate pharma/biotech networks to deliver value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biological/medical sciences or related life science field; advanced degrees may substitute for industry experience.
• Minimum 3 years of life sciences sales experience.
• Experience selling research reagents/life science consumables strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets using consultative selling.

Job Qualifications

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in biological/medical sciences or related life science field (advanced degrees may substitute for industry experience).

Skills/Knowledge

• Understanding of the scientific principles behind Bio-Techne products.
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Salesforce (CRM) and computer/data entry.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; multitask; strong verbal and written communication.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Proven ability to secure meetings at locked-down pharma accounts.
• Knowledge of reagents, lab techniques, methods, and equipment used in pharmaceutical/biologics research and production.
• Ability to navigate pharma/biotech/academic/government organizational structures.
• Prior consultative selling experience in a scientific environment required.

Location/Work Authorization

• Located in Massachusetts within 45 minutes of Boston/Cambridge; candidates outside MA must relocate before start.
• Work authorization required with no future visa sponsorship for employment authorization in the U.S.
