Job summary

Bluegrass Community & Technical College is seeking a Ready to Work Coordinator to support KTAP recipients in education and employment pathways. You will recruit, assess, advise, and mentor participants, coordinating life skills training, work-study placements, and services to help learners achieve employment and self-sufficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Services, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
• Two years of experience in Social Services, Case Management, or working with students.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to commute in various settings

Responsibilities

• Identify and recruit eligible RTW participants for KTAP.
• Provide intake and assessment to develop an education and employability plan.
• Deliver case management and referrals to support success and completion goals.
• Support transition from Adult Education to postsecondary education.
• Deliver life skills and career soft skills through workshops or counseling.
• Develop work experiences and student placements, on/off campus, with required documents.
• Travel to service counties for meetings and site visits.
• Support FAFSA completion and financial aid referrals.
• Collaborate with DCBS and partners to promote RTW activities.
• Maintain program records and submit reports as requested.
• Assist with institutional effectiveness and college operations.
