Builders Supply, A CRH company, is a leading supplier of ready mixed concrete, reinforcing steel, and building materials in Louisiana. The Plant Manager will oversee the Natchitoches and Alexandria plants, leading delivery professionals and batch operations to achieve 100% on-time delivery and optimal plant performance.

Responsibilities include supervising dispatch, safety programs, maintenance, and quality testing, while ensuring regulatory compliance and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience with Ready Mix Concrete is required.
• Must communicate effectively with customers and all personnel.
• Must know the surrounding area well.
• Must know company products and services.
• Management and staff supervision experience is a plus.
• Must be a problem solver.
• Must take initiative to improve skills and efficiency.
• Must read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, training, supervision and support to concrete delivery professionals.
• Oversee the Natchitoches and Alexandria plants.
• Develop teamwork and foster team spirit within Ready Mix production and delivery departments.
• Aim for 100% on-time delivery, driver productivity, and minimal losses/complaints.
• Ensure health & safety standards are met and promote a safe work environment.
• Supervise dispatch operations, payroll and attendance, and maintain records.
