Job summary

Builders Supply, A CRH company, is a leading supplier of ready mixed concrete, reinforcing steel, and building materials in Louisiana. The Plant Manager will oversee the Natchitoches plant and the Alexandria plant, providing leadership, training, and supervision to the concrete delivery professionals, batching crews, and plant staff.

The role focuses on driving 100% on-time delivery, driver productivity, plant uptime, and zero lost loads or complaints, while maintaining safety and quality and

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience with Ready Mix Concrete.
• Ability to communicate efficiently with customers and all company personnel.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Must have or acquire good computer skills to operate batching, billing and communication equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, training, supervision and support to the concrete delivery professionals, batch concrete and maintain the plants.
• Develop teamwork and foster team spirit within Ready Mix production and delivery departments.
• Oversee the Natchitoches and Alexandria plants, ensure on-time delivery and maximize plant profitability.
• Ensure Health & Safety standards and promote a safe work environment.
• Direct work at plant locations and job sites; approve payroll claims and monitor attendance.
