Job summary

Knife River is seeking a Ready-Mix General Manager to lead our Oregon operations, providing strategic direction for ready-mix production, fleet, maintenance and safety. This role focuses on profitability, safety, and efficient delivery of concrete products in a dynamic market.

You will drive capital projects, lead diverse teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and advance safety and service standards across Metro and Willamette Valley divisions, reporting to the Operations leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in concrete production or related construction materials.
• Experience managing P&L and financial performance.
• Strong communication and team-development skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership of Ready-Mix operations, fleet, and production.
• Ensure compliance with MSHA, OSHA, EPA and environmental regs.
• Lead capital projects budgeting, planning, and ROI analysis.
• Develop safety, service, quality, and profitability across divisions.
• Evaluate new products and processes to improve safety and efficiency.
• Foster collaboration and handle high-pressure operational challenges.
• Manage employee relations and workforce engagement.
