Job summary

S&W Ready Mix Concrete, a Titan America subsidiary, is seeking a Loader Operator for the Wilmington, NC location. The role involves loading material from stockpiles, routine equipment maintenance, and assisting with plant housekeeping.

You will help ensure safe, efficient production of ready-mix concrete while supporting daily operations across plant and yard. Ideal candidates have good communication and computer skills, experience supervising others, and familiarity with concrete production.

Qualifications

• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Good computer skills.
• Ability to supervise multiple employees; previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of concrete characteristics and production.
• Ability to travel within delivery area to other plant locations.
• Previous experience in ready-mix industry preferred.
• Valid CDL preferred.
• Knowledge of safe operation of heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Load material from stockpiles and operate loader, performing routine maintenance as needed.
• Maintain plant and yard, including loaders and mixers, in excellent condition.
• Keep the yard clean and safe, including wash racks and stockpile areas.
• Operate with a computerized batching system ensuring quality and timely deliveries.
• Support inventory and assist maintenance with plant repairs.
