Job summary

S&W Ready Mix Concrete, a subsidiary of Titan America, seeks a Loader Operator for the Wilmington, NC site. You will operate a front-end loader, load stockpiles, perform basic maintenance, and support plant operations to ensure safe, efficient production of ready-mix concrete.

You’ll work outdoors in varying conditions, with potential nights, weekends, and overtime. Strong communication, basic computer skills, and safety-consciousness are required; CDL and prior loader/ready-mix experience

Qualifications

• Strong written and spoken communications skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to operate systems.
• Ability to supervise multiple employees; prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of concrete production and ready-mix processes.
• Willingness to travel within the delivery area to other plant locations.
• Experience in ready-mix industry is beneficial.
• CDL license preferred but not required.
• Experience and knowledge of safe operation of heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of proper material handling practices.

Responsibilities

• Load material from stockpiles with a front-end loader and perform routine equipment maintenance.
• Maintain plant and yard cleanliness and operate safely and efficiently.
• Follow batching processes and ensure product quality and timely deliveries.
• Assist with inventory; support maintenance team with plant repairs as needed.
