Qualifications

• Must have or obtain VDOT Concrete Batch Plant Operator Certifications within 90 days of hire.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Good computer skills.
• Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision.
• Basic understanding of concrete characteristics and production preferred.
• Valid driver's license meeting company standards.

Responsibilities

• Load material from stockpiles and perform routine equipment maintenance.
• Maintain plant and equipment in good working order and neat appearance.
• Ensure yard and work area are clean and safe, including wash racks and loading areas.
• Support safe, efficient production of ready-mix concrete using batching system.
