Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL A or B) required; high school diploma preferred.
• Driver must qualify as not prohibited in the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Airbrake endorsement may be required in certain areas.

Responsibilities

• Punctuality: Report to Driver Trainer at shift start.
• Safely drive the ready-mix truck to and from job sites; ensure safe delivery of loads.
• Adhere to safety regulations (D.O.T. and OSHA) for a safe working environment.
• Ensure safe and timely delivery of concrete loads to job sites.
• Inspect and adjust loads for safe delivery and quality control.
• Estimate slump and ensure correct color and consistency of concrete.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the truck and equipment.
• Provide outstanding customer service and maintain a professional image.
• Coordinate with dispatch and team members for efficient operations.
