Job summary

Cemex US is seeking a Ready-Mix Driver Trainee in Florida to be trained to operate concrete mixers and deliver ready-mix concrete to diverse job sites. You will learn to discharge loads safely, manage extension chutes, and work in varying site conditions, including lifting loads up to 50 pounds.

Required are a valid CDL A or B, ability to read, write and speak English, and a clean driving record. High school diploma preferred; bilingual a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A or B license required.
• Able to read, write, and speak English.
• Clean CSA/MVR record; no DUI/DWI in last 5 years and no more than 3 moving violations in past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Punctuality: arrive on time and report to Driver Trainer.
• Safely drive the ready-mix truck to job sites and deliver loads.
• Adhere to safety regulations (CEMEX, DOT, OSHA).
• Ensure safe and timely delivery of concrete loads.
• Inspect/load adjustments to ensure safe delivery.
• Estimate slump and ensure proper concrete mix color and consistency.
• Maintain truck cleanliness and equipment readiness.
• Provide professional customer service and coordinate with dispatch.
