Job summary

Cemex US is seeking a Ready-Mix Driver Trainee to learn to operate concrete mixers and deliver ready-mix concrete to diverse job sites. You will be trained to discharge loads safely and manage extension chutes, which may weigh thirty to fifty pounds.

Responsibilities include punctuality, safe operation of trucks, adherence to safety regulations, timely deliveries, load inspections, and maintaining vehicle readiness while delivering outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• Requires valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A or B).
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Must have acceptable CSA - MVR; no DUI/DWI in last 5 years and limited moving violations.

Responsibilities

• Drive ready-mix truck safely to job sites and deliver loads.
• Inspect and adjust loads to ensure safe delivery and accurate slump.
• Maintain truck cleanliness and perform light maintenance as needed.
