Heidelberg Materials is seeking a CDL driver to safely operate a ready-mix truck and deliver concrete on schedule across Alabama. The role requires commitment to safety, accurate deliveries, and professional customer service.

You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, report maintenance needs, and collaborate with dispatch to ensure efficiency. Candidates should have a valid CDL, a safe driving record, and the ability to follow procedures in a fast-paced environment.

What Are We Looking For

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the ability to operate commercial vehicles safely and responsibly.

Demonstrated commitment to safety, compliance, and defensive driving practices.

Ability to provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.

Capability to perform vehicle inspections, complete required documentation, and follow operating procedures.

Dependable team player with strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Conditions of Employment

Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.

Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.

What We Offer

$20.60 to $25.67 per hour.

Candidates with one year or more of RMC experience are eligible for a $1,500 sign-on bonus , payable after 90 days of successful employment.
