Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is hiring a Ready-Mix Driver in Alabama who will safely operate a concrete delivery truck to job sites. You will conduct pre-trip inspections, report maintenance needs, and ensure on-time, accurate deliveries while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading with truck-mounted equipment, complying with DOT and company safety rules, and maintaining accurate delivery documentation. Candidates must have a CDL and a strong safety record.

What Are We Looking For

Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a safe driving record.

Demonstrated commitment to safety, reliability, and responsible vehicle operation.

Ability to perform equipment inspections and complete required documentation accurately.

Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.

Capability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing job site conditions.

Conditions of Employment

Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.

Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.

What We Offer

$20.60 to $25.67 per hour

Candidates with one year or more of RMC experience are eligible for a $1,500 sign-on bonus , payable after 90 days of successful employment.
