Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a CDL-certified truck driver to deliver ready-mix concrete to customer sites in Kentucky. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensure quality by proper loading and unloading, and communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
The role requires a strong safety mindset, independent work habits in a fast-paced environment, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures.
Safely operate a ready mix truck to deliver concrete to customer job sites in a timely manner.
Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and daily vehicle inspections to support safe and reliable operations.
Maintain product quality by properly handling, mixing, and unloading concrete according to specifications.
Provide professional customer service while communicating effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
Follow all safety policies, traffic regulations, and operational procedures to support a safe work environment.
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a safe driving record.
Demonstrated ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and equipment.
Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and customer service excellence.
Ability to perform vehicle inspections, complete required documentation, and follow operational procedures.
Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
$22.32 to $26.20 per hour
