Job summary

Fordyce Concrete is hiring a Ready-Mix Driver in Kansas City, KS. You will safely operate mixer trucks to deliver concrete to diverse sites, conduct DOT-based inspections, and maintain delivery records. Expect independent work with team support and strong safety emphasis.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years of truck driving experience, CDL A or B with a clean record, and the ability to drive a manual transmission. Overtime and some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years' experience driving trucks of similar size.
• Valid CDL A or B license; must have an active, clean record. Manual transmission allowed.
• Pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check.
• Commitment to safety and quality service; have a professional appearance and conduct.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate ready mix trucks to deliver concrete to job sites and company locations.
• Conduct daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections by DOT standards.
• Load and unload equipment and materials as needed.
• Maintain accurate mileage logs and delivery records.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws.
• Perform minor truck maintenance and keep vehicle clean and orderly.
• Deliver quality service and represent our company with professionalism.
