Qualifications

• Know how to read basic measurements and tape measures.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently on job sites.
• Maintain safe slopes on excavations and proper barricading.
• Locate utilities and other buried lines prior to digging.
• Perform minor servicing and maintenance or refer major problems to the supervisor.
• Keep time and material records.
• Understand and apply basic mathematical skills (adding, subtracting, division, multiplication).
• Travel from interstate highways to rural dirt roads from various locations.
