Job summary

National Ready Mixed is seeking a Ready-Mix Dispatcher/Batchman to coordinate scheduling and dispatching of ready-mix concrete deliveries in Southern California. The role requires ensuring accurate batching of concrete per specifications and serving as the communication link between customers, drivers, and production operations.

Responsibilities include daily dispatch planning, monitoring delivery progress, and maintaining records while ensuring safety and compliance with DOT/OSHA requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or technical training in logistics or related field preferred.
• Experience with computerized batching and dispatch systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch ready-mix concrete deliveries to customer job sites.
• Coordinate daily activities of mixer truck drivers to maximize efficiency.
• Monitor truck locations, job progress, and delivery schedules using dispatch software and GPS systems.
• Communicate with customers, contractors, sales representatives, and drivers regarding order changes, delays, and delivery status.
