Job summary

Gerhold Concrete Company, Inc. is seeking a Ready-Mix Driver in Grand Island, NE. You will transport freshly mixed concrete from the plant to job sites, perform safety checks, inspect the mixer, and ensure accurate delivery while maintaining the vehicle and documenting activities.

The role requires a Class A or B CDL, a valid Medical Card per DOT, and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Experience with ready mix trucks is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with ready mix trucks or related industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver concrete to job sites safely and on time.
• Inspect and prepare truck before each shift.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of truck and equipment.
• Follow DOT regulations and safety procedures.
• Complete required paperwork and follow directions using maps and GPS.
