Job summary

Gerhold Concrete Company, Inc. is seeking a Ready‑Mix Driver to haul freshly mixed concrete from the plant to job sites in Hartington, NE. The role requires CDL Class A or B, adherence to safety rules, and ability to perform basic truck maintenance.

You will inspect the truck daily, follow directions, manage paperwork, and work independently within a team. Night/weekend shifts may be required based on project needs.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
• Read and interpret mixer truck gauges and site maps.

Responsibilities

• Deliver concrete to job sites safely and on time.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and complete the Driver Check-off Sheet.
• Follow DOT regulations and safety procedures; maintain clean delivery equipment.
