Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a Ready Mix truck driver to safely deliver construction materials to customer sites. You will perform pre-trip inspections, load and unload materials, and coordinate with dispatch.

Candidates must hold a CDL, commit to safety, and communicate effectively with customers and team. This on-site role offers union benefits including medical, dental, vision and pension, plus paid vacation and holidays.

What You'll Be Doing

• Safely operate a Ready Mix truck to deliver and place construction materials at customer job sites.

What Are We Looking For

• Valid commercial driver\'s license (CDL) with the ability to operate a Ready Mix truck safely and effectively.
• Strong commitment to safety, compliance, and responsible equipment operation.
• Ability to perform vehicle inspections, complete required paperwork, and follow operating procedures.
• Effective communication and customer service skills in a team-oriented environment.
• Capability to work independently, adapt to changing job site conditions, and manage delivery schedules.

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
