Job summary

Reading Corps at Ampact seeks Reading Tutors to help students become strong readers in a school setting. You will deliver guided reading activities, coach students through daily practice, and coordinate with on-site coaches to monitor progress.

Responsibilities include leading 20-minute tutoring pairs, following a schedule, and reporting scores in the data system. Training is provided, and you’ll participate in ongoing coaching to support student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Dependable with a history of good attendance.
• Fluent English for speaking, reading, and writing.
• Able to follow instructions and implement feedback.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (email, online navigation).
• 18+ years old with a high school diploma or equivalent; US citizen or eligible to work.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult focused on helping children thrive.
• Lead tutoring sessions and follow a schedule.
• Track student progress and meet with on-site coach.
• Enter student scores in data software.
• Commit to growth through coaching and training.
