Job summary

Ampact is looking for committed Reading Tutors to join Reading Corps for the 2026-27 school year. You will work at local schools, leading tutoring sessions to help students gain reading skills through consistent practice. This role is part of a mission to ensure every student becomes a strong reader.

Ideal candidates should be dependable and possess basic computer skills while being fluent in English. Full-time and part-time positions are available, starting from August 2026 to June 2027.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• History of good attendance required.
• Ability to complete a background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead tutoring sessions focused on helping children thrive.
• Track student progress and conduct assessments.
• Regularly meet with the school's on-site coach.
