Job summary

Qualifications

• Holds a Master’s degree and Maryland Advanced Professional Certificate with Reading endorsement.
• Minimum five years of effective teaching experience.
• Demonstrates knowledge of instructional and curricular methodologies and reading best practices.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates coaching cycles to support teachers’ learning of content and pedagogy.
• Coaches teachers to improve instructional practices and student achievement in reading.
• Serves as liaison between the Office of Teaching and Learning and individual schools.
• Coordinates and monitors the Reading/Literacy program across the school and district.
