Job summary

Danvers Public Schools seeks qualified Reading and/or Math Tutors to support eligible private school students with disabilities under IDEA equitable services. Tutors deliver targeted reading and/or mathematics instruction on-site at participating private schools in Danvers during normal school hours.

This is a grant-funded, part-time role, with wage opportunities of $55 to $65 per hour, contingent on student needs and available funding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Knowledge of effective reading and/or mathematics instruction and intervention.
• Experience with diverse learners.
• Ability to provide individualized and small-group instruction.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized reading and/or mathematics tutoring to eligible private school students.
• Deliver targeted instruction aligned with IDEA equitable services.
• Collaborate with district staff and participating private schools during normal school hours.
• Collect and communicate student progress data.
