This is a rewarding opportunity to support a gentleman in his 60s who has learning disabilities and a forensic history. While he is fairly independent in some aspects of daily life, he requires consistent, positive support to build confidence, develop skills and achieve his goals.
Shift Patterns- This home provides 24-hour support, including 9:00am - 11:00pm, sleep-in with morning support the following day 7:00am - 9:00am. Relief colleagues provide flexible cover across the home and may occasionally work in other specialist services, including opportunities within our Enfield float team.
Due to the specialist nature of this home, successful applicants must be able to commit to mandatory training, including 3 consecutive weekday forensic induction days, Support Worker induction training, service-specific training and shadow shifts and the completion of workbooks and competency assessments. Please note that training is delivered during weekdays rather than weekends. Ample notice will be provided to support attendance.
