Job summary

Cheshire Talent Partners (CTP) Ltd in Bolton invites applications for an Apprentice Purchasing Assistant. No prior purchasing experience is needed; we value a switched-on, organised candidate with IT aptitude who is keen to learn and grow in procurement.

You’ll support daily purchasing, raise orders, liaise with suppliers, check prices and delivery details, and maintain records while progressing through a Level 3 apprenticeship with potential to upgrade to Level 4 CIPS.

Salary: Up to £10.85 per hour, depending on age

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Working hours: Usually 8:30am-4:00pm, with an early finish on Fridays

Apprenticeship: Level 3, with potential progression to Level 4 CIPS

CTP Group is working with a well-established manufacturing and engineering business in Bolton that is looking for an Apprentice Purchasing Assistant to join its team.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career who wants to learn, gain a recognised qualification and develop genuine hands‑on experience within a busy purchasing environment.

You don't need previous purchasing experience. We're much more interested in finding someone who is switched on, organised, comfortable working with numbers and IT, and keen to learn.

What you'll be doing

• Supporting the team with day-to-day purchasing and administration

You’ll receive plenty of support while learning the role and completing your **Level 3 apprenticeship**.
