Job summary

Medequip Assistive Technology Limited is seeking a Specialist Engineer to assess, service, repair, and maintain a range of assistive equipment to ensure peak performance and reliability. You will perform inspections, diagnose faults, carry out preventative maintenance, process work orders, and deliver on-site service at customer premises.

This permanent, on-site role requires meticulous records, safety compliance, and clear customer communication.

Responsibilities

• Assess, inspect, service, and repair equipment in accordance with company procedures and manufacturer specifications.
• Diagnose faults and identify appropriate repair solutions in a timely and efficient manner.
• Carry out preventative maintenance to minimise equipment downtime.
• Receive, process, update, and confirm work orders using computer-based systems.
• Install, deliver, service, and repair equipment at customer premises.
• Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
• Provide professional and courteous customer support, answering technical queries where required.
• Work independently to manage assigned tasks and service visits.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and other departments to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Manage tools, equipment, and spare parts required for service and repair activities
