Job summary

Alecto Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Mobile Forklift Engineer / Field Service Technician to service and repair forklift trucks across the UK, diagnosing electrical, mechanical and hydraulic faults on-site. You will travel nationwide, own your workload with autonomy, and earn up to £40,000 base plus uncapped overtime and a fully equipped company van, supported by a team that values your time and skill.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Forklift Engineer, Plant Engineer, Field Service Engineer, or Mobile Engineer.
• Strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic knowledge.
• A self-motivated Service Engineer / Maintenance Technician who enjoys working independently.
• Full UK driving licence (essential for Mobile / Field-Based Engineers).
• Willingness to travel nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining, and repairing forklift trucks, material handling equipment, and plant machinery.
• Diagnosing electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic faults as a Service Technician / Maintenance Engineer.
• Delivering excellent customer service on-site as a Field Service Engineer / Mobile Technician.
• Managing your own workload and travel across the UK as an Autonomous Engineer / Mobile Service Engineer.

Salary: GBP35000 - GBP45000 per annum + overtime

Up to £40,000 + Overtime + Company Van
