Job summary

Doist is seeking a part-time frontend engineer in the United States, focusing on React Native with strong ReactJS web experience. You’ll work on interactive features, performance, and Next.js site improvements, while leveraging Claude Code in daily development.

This remote role operates on a Mon–Wed cadence with a collaborative team of 3–4 frontend developers. You should have 4+ years of JavaScript experience, strong UI/UX capabilities, and comfort using AI-assisted tools.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of professional experience with JavaScript and modern component-based frameworks.
• Strong experience with React Native as a primary strength and web React experience (ReactJS/Next.js).
• Familiarity with Claude Code or similar agentic coding tools and ability to review AI-generated code.

Responsibilities

• Participate in requirement analysis with the team.
• Execute on new features and improvements in the React Native app.
• Contribute to Next.js website feature work alongside mobile tasks.
• Translate comps and wireframes into component delivery plans.
• Estimate task complexity for new projects.
• Review AI-generated code for correctness, performance, and maintainability.
