Job summary

Doist is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to drive the development of high-performance web and desktop applications with a focus on scalability and real-time communication. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to design and implement AI-native solutions, using React, TypeScript, and Tauri, with CI/CD and testing as core practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience developing in JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Strong proficiency in building scalable applications.
• Experience with real-time communication protocols (WebSockets, MQTT).
• Strong proficiency in unit testing and E2E testing frameworks (Cypress).
• Knowledge of Rust and Python is beneficial for backend integration.
• Experience with relational and/or non-relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to translate requirements into high-quality software solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain web and desktop applications.
• Utilize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, ensuring automated testing and smooth deployments.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code across the codebase; write tests to go with it.
• Participate in code reviews and share best practices to improve code quality.
• Troubleshoot and debug production and non-production issues.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and propose architecture/workflow improvements.
• Lead architectural discussions and contribute to long-term technical strategies.
