Job summary

Everforth Apex seeks a skilled React Developer in Charlotte, NC for a 12-month contract. You will update the application framework, implement Accessibility standards, and collaborate with product owners and teams to deliver accessible frontend solutions.

You will build responsive UI with React, work with designers to ensure inclusive UX, and contribute to CI/CD release processes in an enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of front-end development experience.
• Expertise in React and related ecosystems (Redux, React Router, Hooks).
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and JSON.
• Strong knowledge of WCAG AA/AAA accessibility standards.
• Experience with automated and manual accessibility testing tools.
• Understanding of semantic HTML, ARIA roles, keyboard navigation, and screen readers.
• Experience on enterprise-level web apps with strict accessibility requirements.
• Proficiency with Visual Studio and Git/Bitbucket source control.
• Experience building API-based architectures.
• Familiar with Jira and Agile development.
• Ability to communicate to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Front-End Developer with strong React experience and accessibility expertise. In this role, you will assist in updating our application framework and implementing Accessibility standards to ensure it is accessible for all users. You will partner with Product Owners, technical leads, and internal teams to produce software design and frontend development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy responsive and performant web applications using React.
• Work with UX/UI designers to implement inclusive design principles and create accessible user experiences.
• Contribute to story refinement, requirements definition, and story estimation.
• Implement design into HTML pages for handoff to backend development.
• Code solutions and unit tests to deliver requirements per the defined acceptance criteria.
• Assist the team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work.
• Contribute to existing test suites and analyze test reports to identify and triage issues.
• Document and communicate required information for deployment, maintenance, and support.
• Participate in and contribute to delivery and release events (CI/CD).

Required Qualifications
