Job summary

Ollie’s Distribution Center in Illinois is seeking a Reach Truck Operator to move palletized merchandise across the floor and coordinate with associates for proper placement. You will inspect equipment, operate RF scanners, and follow safety procedures in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and efficiency, with pay based on location and experience and opportunities to participate in the company’s benefit programs after the introductory period.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, not required.
• Ability to work independently and self-motivated to seek work.
• Ability to complete assignments in time allotted.
• Ability to work effectively, in a professional environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule (until work is done).

Responsibilities

• Inspect equipment and complete inspection sheets to ensure that equipment is safe and operable daily.
• Provide support to all departments by responding to radio requests for assistance.
• Work within the assigned zone to remove or replace pallets of merchandise.
• Use AS400 onboard monitor to determine movement and placement of pallets.
• Use RF guns to properly scan product out of and into correct locations.
• Correct location errors when observed.
• Follow all safety and housekeeping procedures.
• Meet minimum productivity standards.
• Complete any additional responsibilities and/or duties as assigned.
