Job summary

Ollie's is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Illinois to support inbound and outbound freight, including receiving, stocking, picking, loading, and processing in our distribution center.

You will work with pallet jacks, forklifts, and RF scanners, adhering to safety procedures and achieving productivity targets. The role demands flexibility to complete tasks as needed and may include weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, not required.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks, forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Ability to use an RF scanner as needed.
• Ability to communicate via RF 2-way radio.
• Flexibility to work until the job is done.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Load and unload product by hand or with equipment.
• Move freight using Material Handling Equipment to and from trailers.
• Follow safety and housekeeping procedures.
• Meet minimum productivity standards.
• Unload, load, stock, pick, label and wrap items as needed.
• Use RF scanner to locate products and locations.
• Plan picks within the Distribution Center according to allocation plans.
• Identify and clear jammed boxes from conveyors.
