Job summary

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, Inc. is seeking a Reach Truck Operator to move palletized merchandise in our Distribution Center in Illinois. You will inspect equipment daily, support multiple departments by radio, and ensure accurate pallet placement using AS400 and RF scanning.

Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work a flexible schedule, and meet productivity standards while complying with safety procedures. Ollie’s offers competitive wages and a strong associate benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, not required.

• Inspect equipment and complete inspection sheets daily.
• Provide support to all departments by responding to radio requests.
• Move pallets within assigned zone and ensure proper placement.
• Use AS400 onboard monitor to determine movement and placement of pallets.
• Use RF guns to scan product out of and into correct locations.
• Correct location errors when observed.
• Follow all safety and housekeeping procedures.
• Meet minimum productivity standards.
• Complete any additional responsibilities and/or duties as assigned.

The Reach Truck Operator position is responsible to operate a high reach truck to move palletized material throughout the Distribution Center. This position is required to communicate with other Associate consistently to ensure materials and product are placed in proper location positions.

This pay represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. Pay ranges may be different in other locations. Actual associate pay will be based on work location, position, experience, skill level, qualifications, and other relevant factors. Associate will not be compensated below the minimum wage for the specific location where the individual has applied in accordance with city, county, and state requirements.
