Kelly Services is seeking a dependable Reach Truck Operator in Kankakee, IL to support warehouse operations on a contract-to-hire basis. You will safely operate a stand-up reach truck, move and store inventory, and maintain accurate placement while adhering to safety guidelines and productivity targets.

The role requires 2–3 years of forklift experience, strong attention to detail, reliable attendance, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Work hours are 7:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience operating a stand-up reach truck or stand-up forklift.
• Ability to operate material-handling equipment safely and responsibly.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a stand-up reach truck in a warehouse environment.
• Move, stage, load, and store products and materials.
• Place and retrieve inventory from designated rack locations.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines.
• Inspect equipment before use and report any safety or maintenance concerns.
• Maintain accurate product placement and inventory organization.
• Lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
• Work effectively as part of a team while meeting productivity expectations.
