Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring a Reach Operator in Joliet, IL, to operate reach trucks and move materials across the facility. The role features multiple shifts: 1st (6:00 AM–2:30 PM), 2nd (3:00 PM–11:30 PM), or 3rd (10:00 PM–6:30 AM) with overtime as needed.

Pay ranges from $20.50 to $22.00 per hour, with weekly pay and medical, dental, vision, life, and optional 401(k). Candidates should have at least 6 months of reach truck experience, certification or willingness to obtain it, and the ability to

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience operating reach trucks.
• Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
• Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to operate forklifts for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate reach trucks to transport materials throughout the facility.
• Move raw materials, finished goods, and packaging supplies between production and storage areas.
• Retrieve, stage, and place materials on racks for production and inventory purposes.
• Assist with loading and unloading pallets, trailers, and trucks.
• Complete inventory tracking and material movement transactions using scanning systems.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment issues promptly.
• Use battery-operated hand tools as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized staging, storage, and warehouse areas.
• Follow all safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Support warehouse and production operations with additional duties as assigned.
